Description

Churro Cheesecake Bars . . . where cinnamon sugar crunch meets creamy cheesecake bliss!

These dreamy dessert bars combine the crispy, golden cinnamon coating of a churro with a rich, tangy cream cheese filling. It’s everything you love about two classic treats—rolled into one irresistible square.

Bar-style desserts like snickerdoodle blondies and sugar cookie bars are always a hit at gatherings, but these churro cheesecake bars have quickly climbed to the top of the favorites list. Perfect for sharing—or keeping all to yourself.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2-8 oz cream cheese packages softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 -8oz cans Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls

Instructions

  1. Heat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together ½ cup of granulated sugar and 2 tablespoons of ground cinnamon, then set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the egg, ½ cup granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix until well combined, then set aside.
  4. Lightly coat a 9×13″ pan with non-stick spray, then evenly sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the bottom.
  5. Unroll one 8 oz can of crescent dough onto a lightly floured surface and press the seams together to seal. Gently transfer it to the prepared pan, placing it over the cinnamon sugar and pressing it down to cover the bottom evenly.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the first crescent dough layer. Unroll the second 8 oz can of crescent dough, seal the seams as before, and gently lay it over the cheesecake filling to cover it completely.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar evenly on top, then bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let the bars cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for 1 hour. Slice and enjoy!
